BOOMZ Night Out

BOOMZ NIGHT OUT was phenomenal! I would say W520 rocked the whole town during that few hours of games and fellowship. The COOLEST part is that MANY MANY friends joined the event and that drove all of us to be even more hyped up for it! The different groups combed the entire Jurong West to play some station games. Some met disastrous forfeits and sabos! In conclusion, everything went well (Thank God for good weather), the young people enjoyed themselves to the fullest! Indeed, PRAYER+HARDWORK=REVIVAL!

Dear all readers I'm back to blogging! Cool, time flies and now i'm currently studying in SOT! SOT is the most happening school you will ever want to be in! Total eye opener and awesome-shiokness!EVERYDAY-SOAKED-IN-THE-WONDERFUL-PRESENCE-OF-GOD. Just solely the first week, i have learnt, gained and experienced so much! I am believing and very excited in the spirit for more encounters and breakthroughs with Lord Jesus! The latter days will get better!

CG today and W520 had their very first BUBBLE TEA DAY! Bubble tea has been the recent, or rather, has always been the all-time favorite of the members

! One bubble tea a day, keeps us smiling always. We made our own bubble tea and tried 'NEW' flavors like 'CHOCOLATE HONEY ICE BLENDED?!?!?!'. I think i drank 500 pearls. o.O. Overall, it was a good and fun time together!

Hi readers! I know i've kind of abandoned this place for some time. Oh well, it has been a super packed start of the year and without realizing its February already. And in a few days time, its gonna be Chinese New Year! Woo-Hoo! If you see my previous entries you will know that i have been buried by lots of project work and reports. Now its almost done and here i am!

It was Jonathan's birthday last Friday and we had a celebration for him. He's 20 now and haha, one of the oldest in CG.

Jonathan, just want to say THANK YOU for all the things you have done in my life. Thanks for the encouraging smses, thanks for the effort to come over to visit me when i'm sick, thanks for all the herbal drinks and lozenges, thanks for all the cards and last of all, thanks for the love, care and concern you have showered all these years! You are really an awesome brother and i'm really grateful and blessed to have you in my life! Jia you in all things that you do and i believe this year will be a year of bigger breakthrough for you!

It's been a long long week and finally i had two huge rocks lifted off my shoulders. Flea market is over, RM bazaar is over. Finally. I have not been sleeping enough and i could see the ugly eye bags popping out underneath my eyes. LOL. Well. Haha its part and parcel of your school life.
I shall elaborate a bit more on the flea market. Overall, it was a success. We had a total of about 40 stalls set up on Saturday. Most of them were selling female clothings. I did some shopping but didn't really find something i like. So in the end, i went home empty handed. Haha, it was a long day, we had to run up and down the uber long staircase to distribute the flyers and direct the crowd. Come to think of it, i killed many calories that day solely by climbing it. LOL.

Nearing evening, we were very honored to have the brothers Amos and Adam to come and perform for us. Their voices are amazingly beautiful. I managed to take a video of their performance which i will post it up later.
The next day, it was our retail management bazaar at East Coast Park. Our stall name was called the 'Good Old Times'. What we were selling were the little snacks that could be found in the olden days, for example Coke in glass bottles instead of the plastic ones. Throughout the entire day, we were trying to sell our cookies and drinks. Unfortunately, things were not as well as we thought it would be. It was sunny, yet the crowd at ECP was unexpectedly little. Most of us were also drained and inactive due to the flea market the day before. Hence, sales was bad. Boo-hoo. Oh well, we earned an experience.

Hi peeps! I just came back from leaders' retreat to Malacca. Superb! We set off on the 31st, had our thanksgiving and new year countdown, turned the room upside down, went for shopping(though didn't buy much this time round), watched Avatar (Super good), etc. It was a total relaxing and fun time, grew closer to my fellow friends as well.

As i reflected, 2009 was a pretty fast year for me. Events after events, activities after activities, and it's already the beginning of a new year. Well, it was a year of breakthrough and also a year when i learned and grew in many new things! Thank God for that! Definitely believing and ready for more dreams in 2010! Shall start planning my new year resolution soon!

Anyway, my class is in the midst of organising a flea market at Old School@mount sophia, on the 16th January 2010, which is very soon. Any interested parties can contact me directly! Do support by coming to visit us!

In a twinkling of an eye, Christmas is over. Boo-hoo.:(

But was a great time of celebration and fellowship! Went for the expo candlelight and christmas services. The drama production was just simply excellent and commendable, beautiful love story! Thumbs up!

Not to forget, i have made many many new friends! They are definitely awesome people to be with!

Had our countdown. Received a few gifts from some santa clauses (Jerb, Sijia, Krystal, Aloy, Jeremy, Cai Wen, Sarah, Romeo) as well, wanted to take this chance to say THANK YOU for all the love!

New Macbook!

Yippee! I finally got my MacBook! It's much much more cool, style and fun than i expected previously! At first i was kinda skeptical about the good comments about Macbook but now I am totally agree and in love with it!

Here's the story of this laptop:

About 3 weeks ago, my Fujitsu laptop crashed! I prayed to God, i told him, 'God, i need a laptop badly, i can't do proper work without it. Also, next year i am going SOT, i need a laptop!' In fact, in my heart, i was thinking actually a simple netbook will do, as long as i can take down notes and do work.

Indeed, God answers prayer! I received a sms from Jonathan few days later, he told me excitedly about the Singnet Broadband plan,

and that they are giving free Macbook. So after much discussion with my Dad, we decided to sign the plan! And now, i am able enjoy the coolest tip-top features and functions of this laptop! AWESOME!

Tomorrow's W520 big day! Rojak Christmas Party! Expecting many friends to join us! Super excited and stirred up in my spirit now! Am believing for a goodie time with our very own drama team as well! Will Santa go heaven?hmmmm....For me to know, for you to find out! haha!

On a sidenote, our CG Jacket is gonna be out very very soon! Tee hee hee. Hopefully we can all wear them together for Christmas!

Happy.=) This is what i feel right now. I feel like i am on an adventurous roller coaster ride.
I can't sleep and don't want to sleep as i am afraid all these will go away tomorrow morning. haha.

The past 2 night sessions were really really awesome! Presence of God was really strong. I was reminded the many dreams that i had for God and its just simply amazing.

Camp Believe taught me to have faith and trust in Him even more!

Besides getting busy with evangelistic meeting and school work, one significant thing that is happening right now is that i am given an opportunity to set u a blogshop! I am doing this together with Miss Amber Tan. We aim to launch it by this coming weekend(hopefully so), still working on it.

For those who do not know, to me this is like a dream come true. Why? Since secondary school, i have been telling myself this,'In future, i want to set up my own business, i want to be an entrepreneur.' and now it came to pass! Though it is just a simple online business, but is definitely something worth trying for! Well, it is not as easy as you think it will be. It takes hard work, effort and a lot of time brainstorming thename, finding the right template, editing the web, photoshoot, etc etc. Adding on to my other work, i can go BOOMZ! haha! But its all worth it i believe!

Denim Party!

Yes yes i believe some of you might be asking why am i not updating my blog. haha
Basically i am really tied down by a couple of things the past few weeks and now finally i've got some time to post something here.

Last Saturday i just had my first W520 Denim Party! Its really a big effort especially from the CGC class. Overall its not too bad. All of us dressed up as cowboy and cowgirl. We played games and watched a heart-warming drama by our very own drama team. A special performance also put up by me and Sarah. We sang 'Love story' by Tayor Swift. Haha i shall make a comment on this performance. Its really funny and hilarious on me. Why? I remembered while i was playing the guitar that day, Sarah was singing kinda softly. I thought it was because she forgot the lyrics or something wrong elsewhere. When i went home, and i looked back at the video that was recorded, and i realised that she was singing softer because i was playing too fast!!! I'm sorry Sarah!!!

On top of that, we also had photoshoot and i really love that to max. We actually made portable 'photo frame' that says 'WANTED'. What we needed to do was to hold on to the photo frames and take pictures with a newspaper background. The pictures are really cool!

Painful lesson

Don't judge a book by its cover! Or rather don't judge a pair of shoes by its cover!

You might be asking me why?

Well basically i bought a new pair of black pumps recently. It has an exquisite and unique design. I fell in love with it when i first saw it.
Notwithstanding an attractive design, it gave me huge headache today! I wore it for service and unexpectedly, it caused excruciating discomfort and pain to my poor little feet! It was the worst experience! It got so serious that I couldn't even walk properly with it. Hence, I whined like an old grandma the whole time. haha.:(

Thankfully, i survived with it till fellowship at Just Acia. There i saw Feng Ming, the hero of the day! Looking at my sorry condition, he decided to bless me with a new pair of black studded sandles(NICE)! Hurray! That brought cool relief to my feet and finally, i could walk normally.

Lessons learnt:

1) Carry an extra flats when you are wearing a new pair of shoes, especially heels!

2) Never purchase any shoes because of the design, make sure its comfortable to last you for long hours!

Heyo! I just had a very fabulous mid-autumn celebration with W520! Had lots of mooncakes and HOMEMADE RICE BALL under the big round moon! The lighting of candles and fire sparklers were simply so fun! The guys tried making 'rockets' out of those sparklers, it was a whole good time!

Hi peeps, it is 1am and i am lying on my sofa now....haha

I decided to post some updates before i go to bed tonight.

Sentosa with W520 today!

It was ultimate fun! Was really a good fellowship with all the exciting acitivties and of course, the awesome people.

We arrived Sentosa at about 3pm. Started off with our very own LUNCHBOX EXHANGE! Everyone was supposed to buy a meal from Vivo City and then do an exchange with it by drawing lots. It was really interesting as you would end up eating someone else's food! For myself, my lunch was from Dayna! Yum!

After lunch, we went on playing games and matches in our different teams. We had Hawaii Hunt, Build God a House, Are you smarter than a 5th grader, etc. The water splash and 'telematch' was tremendously thrilling!

Aftermath of Who wants to be ninja warrior

Who wants to be a ninja warrior was over, felt it was a good time of bonding and unity among the members. We went through obstacle course, with many many fear factor added in it. The members all got so dirty at the end of the race.

One thing that i shunned from was the meal worms! Those were not the one that we normally see, but the ones they used were XXL mealworms. I didn't even know meal worms come in different sizes.

I remember during my primary school times, the boys in my class would throw meal worms at the girls, and the girls would go 'ahhhh!!!'

Anyway, ya, you will really feel disgusted when you take a closer look at it. LOL.

Well, eventually the whole event turned out great and was an unforgettable experience.

Now, we are all trained ninja warriors! haha!

SS is over the moon now! haha I just woke up from a nap. Was sooo physically drained the past few days but happy and fruitful!

August 2009 was really an eventful and unforgettable month!

Why? Cuz...

1) I was officially promoted to be a CGL! ( 12th August )

My dream fulfilled and believing for bigger and greater things from God!

2) First W520 evangelistic meeting was a success! (29th August)

Thank W520 to make this event happen! You guys are really really fantastic! (LOVES!) Thanks for all your precious time and effort put in! Its really a time we all play a part to do the work of God together! Way way way to Go!=)

Well, Many many friends came for Don't Burst My Balloon! We played games, there was drama, good food (abundance). TOTALLY AWESOME TIME! Too bad if you missed it..HAHA!

3) I just had my 19th birthday celebration! (28th to 29th August)

I had a great time this year. I celebrated my birthday at New York New York, then the multi-storey carpark roof (surprise), during Don't Burst My Balloon and then Miss Clarity Cafe (surprise) with different people..

Yesterday's CG meeting was spirit-filled! Its really an experience for all of us! Breakthrough from God!

Well i shared this video in CG.
Its actually about this guy called John Stephen Arkwari, he is from Tanzania and participated in the 1968 Olympics race. What happened was tht he had a heavy fall at the beginning of the race, he injured badly on his knees, dislocating his joint.

Rather than quitting, a voice within him told him to keep on running. Finally, 2 hours later, he finished the race and crossed the line. The competition won him the title of 'a King without crown'.

After the whole marathon, the reporter asked him.' Why do you still continue to run when you actually had a bad fall right at the beginning?'.

And he simply answered,
'My country did not send me 5000 miles to enter the race, but my country sent me 5000 miles to finish the race.'

I never forget this person because i just feel what he said reflected our walk with Jesus, that
God didn't save you just to enter the race, but he sent us to finish the race for him.

Many people asked me,'SS! You go tanning ah???'
Answer is 'No!' haha just that recently i took up SWIMMING! haha! Swimming became my best friend! It's really pretty obvious that i have became darker in my skin colour if you have seen me. haha somehow i feel darker skin tone makes me look healthier!=P

I really enjoy swimming to the max though it can be really tiring at times but the feeling of you in water just make you feel so great! Shiok! haha! I think if i have a chance i willl want to try scuba diving too..HEHE

Last Wednesday was W520's first outing! We went to Sentosa! It was a great time of bonding and fellowship! The afternoon sun was super hot! So for those who wants to go tanning, now is the best time! Most of us got sun burnt at the end of the day! Soon you will see our skins peeling already. HAHA!

We also celebrated Diana's birthday. Immediately after te celebration, she was casted into the sea! haah!

I was buried in the sand. Haha actually the feeling was quite good. I like it! Just that the coming out part is super HARD!

Lastly, i want to say I love W520 more each day!!!!

Hello everyone! Finally back from EMERGE! It was really an awesome! I was really inspired by the youths in City Harvest that they are doing something great out there for Jesus!

Well after EMERGE, the cell group went to eat lunch, then went for Global Day Of Prayer at 3pm. I tell you it''s the greatest highlight of the day. During GDOP, all of us were praising God with every beat of our heart! At first we were all standing at our seats, but soon, all of us got so excited that we all went forward to the front of the stage to praise and worship God! We jumped like crazy, shouted like crazy, it was really an fun and exciting time! It seemed short but time indeed flew very fast that when the whole meeting ended, it's already 5plus and we didn't even realise it.

After a great time of prayer and worship, went to Bugis with Sarah! Bought some clothes and accessories. It was a fruiful shopping trip i would say. We shopped from like 6plus all the way to 10 plus. These few hours had tire the both of us out man. We walked in to every single shop there, hoping to find the things that we needed. I did shop for my brother's clothes as well and in the end i got 2 T-shirts for him! haha. We are supposed to go to Haji Lane as well but because at the end we were all so tired, both of us went back. Haha, that shall be our next trip!

Last thing to say before i go, I'm in love with DING DING TANG!!!!!!Super nice! haha. Its sweet and very chewy!! haha. I have been having it for like the past 3 days! Now it's kind of hard to find Ding Ding Tang around, very few places will sell it! Everytime i eat them i would just smile on my face, because its really nice. haha, before they are gone, i better grab them at the food fest!=)

Yo! I just came back from class outing(Timbre@Old School) of my new class (TB12). I would say it's more than a class outing, it's a real bonding session for all of us! Its the first and its successful!haha thanks to Pavan. We had lots of fun and took tons and tons of pictures! Didn't know the girls from my class love to take pictures! I think for that 3 hours we can take more than 300 photos. Zai right?

Yes i believe you guys already know that last week was the last W320 combined CG meeting! We really had a tremendousX3 time! It was a heart warming session, though many teared during the meeting. Even i myself couldn't control the tears rolling down my cheeks, i just feel that i'm really gonna miss W320. Well reason is very simple, because it's the CG that i grew up in! From the day i'm an unbeliever to an irregular member to a member to a helper and to who i am now, its really really a super long journey can you imagine! Its a place my faith and character is being challenged. It is the place i played the guitar. It is the place i learn to love and care for people. And definitely i will never forget any part of it. Good thing is that memories can never be erased! haha! So W320! Forever etched in my heart!

This is one of the photo i took super long ago, think this is the 'oldest' photo i can find in my com. For those who didn't see before..haha. LONG HAIR! I think its really very long time ago, my sister looked so different.! I still remember the first day i met CG was at an evangelistic meeting. Back then, i was still a problematic little girl. Really alot super silly things happened (shall not reveal, you will not believe it). Just by the thought of it i can faint already. But i wonder how Amber tolerate all my nonsense. LOL. Till now, i will really say it's Amber's perseverance and trust in me that bring me to where i'm standing now. We really went through a lot, thick and thins, ups and downs. We climbed through many kinds of mountain and walked through many deep valleys!

THANK YOU SO MUCH for not giving me up!!

Just came back from HCGL class. It was another awesome time! Pastor shared something that really touched my heart and left me thinking when i went home.

If you realised that in the bible it had never once recorded what brand of clothes Jesus wore, or what brand of did he wear, or what kind of cart did he sat in. But what was recorded were Jesus looking out for the people, Jesus saw the woman with the issue of blood and healed her. He did not stop the children for going towards him. He healed the leper. He listened to people and spoke with people.

Normally, in our lives we always look at things, like maybe the new handphone that people has, the clothes that people wear, the branded bags that people carry, the car they drive, etc..

But he said if it is Jesus, he will not look out for all these, instead he will take notice of the driver of that car, he will take notice of the person who carry that bag, he will take notice of the person who wear that dress. This is simply because its people that he cared about.

This is a simple example, yet it really reminded me to keep on loving people and caring for people. It is not the things but PEOPLE!

Hi all! Haa i know it's been very long since i update my blog. I have been very busy with my exams, cell group and many many more.

I just came back from Subzone chalet, it was really a very powerful one. We went to Fairypoint Chalet, the place is huge! Many of us enjoyed the camp and received breakthroughs from God! We had workshops, sessions and many many exciting games! The main 4 teams were Fire Banana, Lighty Salted Lamb, Youth Knights and Team Sum. They are really great people especially when it comes to cheers! They came out with interesting and creative cheers within like 3 days?! Some used pails, some used BANANAs and also a little flyer for their cheers! They shook the whole house down!

In addition to that, the team leaders and assistant leaders also had a time to lead games. I felt that they did well as it was the first time for some of them!

At the end of the day, the teams are more bonded and united together. Praise the lord!

At about 4am of Day 2, we had night game which was called the Lighthunter! The helpers went around banging the doors of the rooms which gave some of the people a big shock. On top of that, water was sprayed on them while they made their way down for briefing. I could remember the blur face that some of the people gave when they gathered for briefing. Some were scratching their heads and some were saying 'What happened?' and 'How come got water?What water you all used?'. It was so funny. Then, we proceeded for the game, the people were supposed to find lightsticks which were hidden in places nearby the chalet. Afterwhich, they were supposed to fight with their waterbombs and try to grab the other team's lightsticks. The game was fun and exciting!

On top of all the fun, God moved in a great way, especially during the 2 night sessions! Everyone in the room was kneeling and hungry for God. Many teared and were touched. That was a session that i would never forget. I believe the people encountered God in their own special way. Even for myself, i was touched by God and i'm really addicted to the presence of God. God spoke to me and gave me vision! I could only say... I love God more and more each day!

Well till now i'm still a bit of of the camping mood. haa. Well i also want to thank the helpers who came over to help us. Without you guys, the chalet would not happen! They are none other than

Darren, David, Delphine, Eugene, Jin Lian, Joycelyn, Lester, Ravi, Yan Ming.

CNY CGC Outing!

Yesterday was our Chinese New Year CGC Outing day! It was SUPERB! Haa! We went to Mount Faber then to the Henderson Wave. It was the first time i'd been there and the place is really nice! There are a lot of beautiful scenaries that i can't help to take tonnes of pictures! Haa! If i have a chance i will want to go there again and complete the whole walk which is about 9km?o.O

HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR TO ALL! GONG XI FA CAI

This Chinese New Year i have been having steamboat, steamboat and steamboat! I think tomorrow when i go my Aunt's house, we will have....... Steamboat! Haa, i always like CNY because its a time when i could really catch up with all my cousins and relatives. Its always a time of long chats and never-ending steamboat from afternoon to night. The reunion feeling was great! Not much pictures this time because i was busy eating and chit-chatting that i only took the pictures when i was about to go home..

Things began to change since last Tuesday. I am very excited in the spirit now because greater things are coming coming coming!Woo hoo! 2009 is the best!

Well this coming Saturday we will be celebrating Chinese New Year! Straight after service we will be having games and Chinese New Year cell group all the way till the night BBQ! It will be another long day but i guarantee you that it will be a fun-filled and enjoyable day! I'm deprived of sleep! haha. Today i went for class, immediately Brenda asked,'What happen to you? You never sleep ah? Or you cry?'. Obviously my face looked like zombie. LOL. Well, i guessed i really need to rest more!

The past few weeks i was quite busy with some of my school projects. Entrepreneurship! Cool! It was a good experience for myself as well as my team mates, we had a great time working with one another. Basically we were given opportunity to do simple entrepreneurship in school. The first one that i did was selling P.Osh brownies! Their brownies are really delicious, very different from the usual brownies selling outside! You gotta try it! Yum!

Soon after this first project, i had the second one which is selling jelly. This project is for the whole of business students. We had a bazaar at Kovan Hub and every group had to set up a stall. And for my team, we decided to sell HOMEMADE jelly. We made a total of about 300 over jellies within a day! Very tiring can, our legs are all aching kind..We combed all the supermarkets just to find KIWI. Haha. After these two project, i'm totally drained already BUT i will be recharged very very soon!

I really like entrepreneurship. In future when i grow up, i pray that i could have a chance to set up my own business. Haha, not food industry, but something else. Maybe clothes?Who wants to partner me!!?? haha!

Person who impact me the most

The SUPERHERO who impacted my life the most is my Mom. She is someone very important to me, very significant in my life. Without her, i will not be who i am today. She took care of me from the beginning, when i was in her womb and then born into this world as a child, and eventually grow up as a youth.

My Mom has touched my life really greatly. Since young, my Mom was the only one who brought me to explore the world. She was the one who signed me up for swimming lessons, she was the one who bought many storybooks for me to read, she was the one who bought sticker books as my birthday present to make me happy, she was the one who cooked three times a day so that i have food to eat(yum!), she was the one who washes the dirty clothes that i’ve worn so i have clean clothes so wear( I learnt how to already..haha) , she was the one who held my hand and fetch me to and from school. It’s a blessing to have her as my Mom!

My Mom is also a very encouraging. I could say...she’s the one who knows me best. At times at night, when she feel that i have something to share, she will always accompany me no matter how tired she is. She knows all my likes and dislikes, she knows what mood am i feeling. Many times i didn’t say much about what happen outside which makes me unhappy, but somehow, she will know that i’m not feeling good and she will speak to me. We always share our feelings and thoughts and this brought us closer!

Everytime when i am sick, My Mom will immediately find or buy medicine for me. She is caring. She always stay up the whole night only to take care of me though she was very tired.

She works all the time, morning till night sometimes. She's hardworking! Why? Because she plans for the future! Some times its heart breaking to see her working from morning till night.
There were times we quarrelled, but often we will get back together within hours. And deep down inside i know that what she said was for my own good. From young it had been not easy for her to raise me up. At times of disappointment, my Mom had always been there for me, ups and downs.

This year’s birthday celebration, it was her who wanted me to give me a good celebration. She sacrificed much simply just to make me happy.

I could not imagine what life will be like without my Mom. Her love and sacrifice is my driving power. Without her, life would be boring, no more advices, no more nagging, no more late night calls to get me to go home, no more..

And adding up all these, she became the person who impacted me the most in my life. Words could not express how grateful i am to her. One thing for sure is that i will love her even more and hopefully in few years down the road, she will not need to work anymore.

Hey all!!!! I Finally got the time to update my blog! haha, have been super super busy recently, so.... err...haha well, i will try my very best to update!
haha...

The eagle is my favorite animals. There are some facts about the eagle that I really find it amazing.

What is your impression of an eagle?

Strong? Fierce? Powerful?

The eagle reigns the whole of the bird species. It is a very powerful animal.

An eagle ‘s lifespan is 70 years old. When it is about 40 years old, it will go through a process called the molting.
This process is the time when the eagle transformed from a juvenile one to a mature one. Because the feathers suffer wear and tear also, so the quality of it will decrease and hence removing and replacing of it became necessary in order for the eagle to continue to soar.
The molting process is a very very brutal and scary process. What happen is that the eagle will hide themselves down in the valley, their feathers will slowly shed off due to some chemical process happening in the body and the eagle itself will also cooperate with the process and rips out its feathers.

Not only that, It is very hard for the eagle because it could only survive on the worms or other food they can scratch to gather. Eagles need to fly in order to get its food sources, but during this process they can’t. It is really a very painful process for the eagle, it is only when these happen, the eagle can grow new feathers and new claws and move up to the next level. The eagle has to persevere and hang on.

After I knew about this molting process about the eagle, I did some reflections upon myself. And I truly felt that in life, there will come a time when you need to make a huge decision about some things in life or rather, you need to make a decision to cooperate with what God plan for you. The process can be very very painful just like the eagle plucking out its on feathers but what it takes you at the end of the day is a different level of anointing and power.

Sometimes, we do need some spiritual molting to move even higher, when God wanted some renewal in us, to take away the bad qualities and replace them with good ones. There will be things we need to give up, there will be things that we need to go through, there will be things that we need to persevere on, there will be times when we feel deeply in pain, there will be times that we need to sacrifice, there will be times, we need to let go. There will be times, you force yourself to do certain things. It is a process that we need and will go through to become even more mature.

After the molting process, the eagle grew new feathers and claws, and can even soar even higher. The minute they hear the familiar noise of the animals, it gives them hope once again. A new chapter of their adult life begins.

And after our molting period, we will see breakthrough, we will be even stronger than before. We will see new hopes, we will be strengthen, our minds will be renewed, we will be at a whole new level! As long as we persevere and persist.

To the special you:
No matter what happens, trust in the lord and never give up. You are an eagle. One day you will see yourself moving to a new level. Keep on persevering and persisting. You are not alone alright! The times may be hard and tough, not easy but, all things are possible! Never give up k? Jia You!

Onething that frightens me is to receive HANDPHONE BILL!

And this is my handphone usage for the month of July.

I believe you guys already know that there are new handphone student plans that provide you with free unlimited smses. So it does not really matter the amount of smses you used. I took up one of the student plan that cost $48.15 per month.

Today went to Keith's CGM. It was awesome!
One question that struck me during his sermon was,
'Let's say you are going through THUNDER now, who is the one who can be there for you ?'.
Answer: Jesus.
His words really caught me. I thought for a moment, and was kinda enlightened >.< When you are very desperate for help, when you are at a loss of what to do, when you feel that you need a miracle, it is only Jesus who can meet your every need. I was truely inspired to have a even closer and intimate relationship with God.
And I need to keep that faith and believe.=)

It is hard to understand a person! Asked Amber before, is it possible to know a person completely? The answer is no. You will not never know completely what a person is thinking also,why?
Because people change from time to time.
Changed in mindset, changed in the way you do things, changed in the way you present yourself, changed in the focus in life, changed by the things happening around, etc etc.
The music that you listen to, the way you walk, the way you talk, your body language, your face features, your doodling, your dressing style, your hand writing and everything else that is related to you reflects hidden parts of your personality.

To understand others we must apply this quote in our priorities:

The least important word: I
The most important word: We
The two most important word: Thank you
The three most important word: All is forgiven
The four most important word: What is your opinion?
The five most important word: You did a good job.
The six most important word: I want to understand you better.

A man’s tongue is powerful. Good thing is it can give life to a person, unfortunately, death as well.
Therefore, a wise person has to be clear what he or she is speaking, to who he or she is speaking to. Sometimes, a simple word of carelessness could easily hurt someone or cause someone to go crazy. >.< Words can penetrate the heart. It might be just some casual remark but who knows the words being spoken out might already caused an unintended misunderstanding or misperception. This is a huge reason why quarrels happen! Sometimes i feel you can realy 'kill' a someone by simply words. >

On the other hand, words can also bring happiness and joy to people. A very good example would be the morning greetings from some of the CGMs, it lightens up my day every single time! That day I received a call from Qin Wei, he called just to say he’s off to sleep and good night. But somehow or rather, it simply just bring a smile on my face. Sometimes I will feel very happy when I see SMSs saying, “Hi Seow Shi How are you doing? :)” and I will go crazy over it. But it shows that someone at another part of the world is remembering you!

Well, amazing.

Although there were many times when I made you go crazy, made you sad and disappointed, but you did not give me up on me! I remembered once when I myself wanted to give up but you came forward and gave me a hand. Without you, I would not be who I am today.
You know what? Your every encouraging word, every "Jia you" gave me a brand new faith and confidence in myself every single time. You are the first person who believed in me all the way from the beginning.
Since the day I stepped into W320, you took great care of me in every possible way! You are really someone who impacted my life and your name has deeply etched into my heart! Yipee! Yesterday’s prayer meeting was fantastic! I felt extremely elated after the whole prayer meeting! Wasn’t myself. It was superb! I could feel God with me throughout the whole session and everything just went so smoothly! Very interesting. It was really a stunning BREAKTHROUGH for me especially after waiting for so long. I will never forget this wonderful experience! It was not the first time I lead but it was the best one I have ever had! I felt like crying. Everyone was excited to pray and at that point of time I just felt like extending it for another 2 hours! Lol. Though was a bit energy-sapping but I am still very "thrilled" in my spirit! I never imagine that I did it! I AM OVER THE MOON!!! A new level. Ultimate hero à JESUS!
